Art commissions are a great way to support my work and future endeavors. Funds are put towards college and other necessities.

1. All transactions are paid in full upfront via PayPal.
Unless Ko-fi is prefered, this is not negotiable. This is put in place to avoid the artist getting scammed out of money and time. If Paypal is the payment method of choice, the customer's concurrent email will be required in order to send an invoice for the commission. All transactions must be paid in USD currency only.2. Extra charges may be added.
It is imperative the customer communicates with the artist the components that are desired in the art commission. This includes character poses, atmosphere, etc. If by chance the customer requests something that is uncommon or relatively complex for the artist's skills, the artist may charge an extra $5-10, or however much is needed, based on the given request.Regarding character references, the starting price of $45 includes a front and back view of the character plus any additional, basic information needed (name, age, height, gender, eye and tongue color, etc.). Any extra outfits on top of that are an extra $15 each.3. References are required.
It is in the artist's best interest they manufacture and deliver good-quality art as to satisfy the expectations of the customer. Lack of a character reference, text or audio descriptions, sample images, or any other form of unreliable articulation are not viable. The artist advises commissioners to provide references that contain a full body image of the character desired, with all other details discussed, and have accurate base colors. This does not include reference sheet commissions. However, the customer should be prepared to present samples based on species, clothing, colors, etc. in the event of purchasing.4. Changes must be made during the sketch phase of the commission.
The artist will examine their tools and resources, producing a fine sketch before proceeding to the next step in refinement. Once the commission proceeds onto the outline step, adding any additional detail can take more time and make the process difficult. For this reason, the artist gives the customer as many times necessary to review the rough draft before finalizing and proceeding through with the commission.5. Commission deadlines.
The customer may expect their product within 1–7 days, or otherwise when specified by the artist. Of course, depending on the work load including the queue of commissioners, the artist may not reach out with a sketch right away. Customers are allowed to inquire about the progress of their commission as long as it is not excessive or pestering. If the customer would like their commission to be done at a deadline, the artist will examine options to accommodate. The customer can pay a $10 fee for a high-priority commission that can be finished within 1–3 days.6. All commissions will be watermarked.
The BoulevardCharms watermark is a symbol meant to authenticate and protect their work. While the commissioner will be handed a copy of their product with a less invasive watermark than the artist, the watermark must never be removed. The customer does NOT have the authority to remove the watermark with any tool, software, or other related resource for any reason. The buyer, however, may use the art for personal use, such as icons, banners, badges, etc. With the current surge of AI tools, BoulevardCharms by NO MEANS WHATSOEVER gives consent to their work being utilized for, or educating, generative AI of ANY KIND. Nor will the artwork be affiliated with NFTs or any cryptocurrencies.7. Merchandise use.
If the customer wishes to sell the commissioned art, they are required to mention these intentions before any transactions are made. Both parties can reach a compensation agreement to ensure the product may not require a large watermark. This does not apply to character references produced by BoulevardCharms. Such property has its ownership donated to the commissioner to use however they see fit. Limits apply via RULE 6 of BoulevardCharms' Art Commissions ToS.8. By purchasing a commission from BoulevardCharms, you AGREE to BoulevardCharms' Art Commissions ToS.
The customer must abide to these rules as so to respect the artist and the artist's work. The finished commission may also be published on BoulevardCharms' social media outlets as per their right to display or subject it to advertisement unless the customer requests otherwise. BoulevardCharms reserves the right to deny service in the event the artist feels uncomfortable or inadequate for the task. If violations occur before or during commission production, a refund will be issued. (Review our "Refund Policy" for more information.) Impatient behavior will not be tolerated nor will the customer behave rude or brash in any way, shape, or form. If the customer violates the stated terms, they may be blacklisted from future purchases.
It is a reminder that the artist is human and may mediate to the
demand of the customer. Depending on the amount of work, the artist
may be faster or slower when completing multiple works at once. Time
is a major factor that contributes to whether or not the customer's
refund request will be granted. Issues regarding these factors can be
resolved depending on the nature of the situation.FULL REFUNDS
Customers reserve the right to a full refund in the event that:1. The artist is unable to complete the commission for whatever reason.
2. The customer requests a refund before the sketch process begins.
3. The customer disobeys ToS before the process begins.PARTIAL REFUNDS
Customers reserve the right to a partial 50% refund in the event that:1. The customer requests for a refund after the process begins.
2. The customer is not satisfied with the commission sketch, and would like to withdraw.
3. The customer disobeys ToS after the sketch process begins.NO REFUND
Customers WILL NOT earn a refund in the event that:1. The customer requests a refund after commission has surpassed the sketch phase.
2. The customer "does not like the commission" once it is completed.
